In a recent tweet, Matt expressed gratitude for his and Jeff Hardy's surprise return during the tag team ladder match at 'Mania 33, describing it as one of the greatest moments of their careers.

Matt Hardy has discussed his career moving forward following his unexpected appearance at TNA Rebellion 2024.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Matt Hardy expressed his affection for AEW, stating his enjoyment of working with Tony Khan.

He mentioned that contract negotiations are ongoing following the expiration of his current deal. Hardy also revealed that he has engaged in discussions with promoters from various wrestling promotions over the last week.

"I spoke with AEW, and I will preface it by saying I love AEW. I love working with Tony Khan, he's a great guy. My contract ended up expiring. We hadn't reached a deal yet, and we're still in the midst of talking. I have literally – in the last week, I have talked to every promoter from every promotion that there is," Matt Hardy said.

It will be interesting to see what's in store for the legendary 10-time WWE Tag Team Champion moving forward.
