While Mandy Rose is no longer a part of WWE, she is still pretty popular among wrestling fans. The former NXT Women's Champion recently sent a heartbreaking message on Instagram as October 3 marked the second death anniversary of her elder brother, Richard.

Mandy Rose suffered one of the biggest setbacks of her life two years ago. However, it was not inside the squared circle. The erstwhile Golden Goddess lost her elder brother Richard in October 2022, when she was still a part of the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. Rose was released from her contract in December 2022.

On Thursday, Mandy took to her Instagram Stories to post a past video of Richard. She also penned a heartbreaking note.

"Always remembered, never forgotten! Miss you every day, big bro! 10.3.2022... two years, still doesn't get easier!" Mandy wrote.

Mandy Rose's fiancé claims that WWE pressured her to defend her title a few days after her brother's death

Mandy Rose was one of the most prominent members of the NXT Women's Division when she lost her brother. However, despite the setback, the then-NXT Women's Champion defended her title against Alba Fyre just a couple of weeks after Richard's death.

Mandy's fiancé, Tino Sabbatelli, talked about the incident on their Power Alphas podcast, commending her soon-to-be wife for her commitment to the job.

"Let's note that less than 10 days after your brother's passing, you were a main event star of a big pay-per-view [PLE] that WWE kinda put a little bit of pressure on you. Listen, we all have a job at the end of the day, and life goes on. And I really admired that you went out, defended your belt, defended your title, won, and carried the card. You were the biggest star on the card. And I think that is a symbola symbol of who you are as a woman," he said.

Mandy Rose wrestled in just a handful of matches after her brother's death. She dropped the NXT Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez, ending her title run at 413 days. She was released from WWE the next day.
