Vince Russo recently spoke about the Jinder Mahal-led stable Indus Sher, which made its presence felt on the latest episode of WWE RAW.

After spending months down in NXT, Mahal, Veer Mahaan, and Sanga, collectively known as Indus Sher, were called up to the main roster as part of the 2023 Draft. Mahaan and Sanga even competed on RAW this Monday night, defeating Drake Thompson and Lavar Barbie in just under two minutes.

While it remains to be seen how they fair in the coming weeks, Vince Russo is optimistic about their prospects. On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the wrestling veteran first took a shot at how WWE handled Veer Mahaan's failed singles run on RAW when they kept hyping him for months.

However, Russo believes Jinder Mahal and his no-nonsense attitude could help Indus Sher achieve big success on the red brand.

"Then they got the other guy telling the story. To the brain trust in the back, how many weeks was it in a row that he (Veer Mahaan) was coming? Was that a rib? We got a bandmate (Jinder Mahal) now. He doesn't find these things funny. He doesn't find screwing around with people's careers, livelihoods, and families funny. Please give me that, man," said Vince Russo. [10:12 - 10:43]

JBL is open to allying with Indus Sher in WWE

While Jinder Mahal is serving as the leader as well as the mouthpiece of Indus Sher on RAW, JBL has extended an offer to join them as their manager. In a recent interview, the WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that he was a big fan of Mahal and Veer Mahaan and would love to manage them on-screen.

"Hey, I am a big fan of Jinder Mahal and Veer. I love those guys. Yes, I would love to manage those guys." JBL added, "I even tried to learn Hindi a couple of years ago, but I wasn't very good at it. It's a hard language."

JBL joined forces with Baron Corbin in October 2022, but their partnership fizzled out in mere months as it didn't connect with the viewers.
