WWE Superstar John Cena is inarguably one of the most popular and successful pro wrestlers in the world. While The Face That Runs The Place has almost everything one needs to become a top star, his buff physique is something that clearly stands out. Interestingly, former WWE name Jeff Hardy has revealed the lesser-known secret of getting as buff as Cena.

Jeff Hardy is one of the biggest tag team specialists in the world and is known for his unique striking and high-flying combos. In June 2024, he left AEW to reunite with his brother Matt in TNA Wrestling.

Speaking to TV Insider, one-half of The Hardy Boyz admitted that including ice baths in his training regime has immensely helped him. He also stated that if he had taken these extremely cold baths in his younger days, he would have become as buff as John Cena.

“Yeah, if I would have been doing ice baths in my 20s and 30s right now I would be as big as the wrestler known as John Cena. I wish I started doing that early on in my career because it has been so beneficial for me now. Matt’s on board with it too. I never look forward to doing one. I look forward to getting it over with, but it has been so beneficial,” said Hardy. [H/T TV Insider]

“For, there is so much opportunity. There is so much potential within me. I really trust in TNA as this is my third run there. I still have so many things I haven’t done that I want to do before it’s all said and done. With TNA, I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be in 2024. I think we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be in 2024 as a tag team. It’s just super exciting to see the things we’re going to bring into reality,” he said. [H/T TV Insider]

The Hardy Boyz, especially Jeff, are pleased with their run in TNA. Thus, their WWE return will have to wait unless they come to NXT as part of the partnership of both companies. They will try to capture the TNA Tag Team Championship on the promotion’s upcoming Bound for Glory pay-per-view. It would be interesting to see if the legendary tag team can fish the gold or not.
