Former WWE head writer Vince Russo had some harsh words for JD McDonagh for his actions towards the end of this week's RAW. The wrestling veteran also called out the Judgment Day for their merchandise.
This week's edition of Monday Night RAW was headlined by Damian Priest who defeated Dominik Mysterio in the main event. However, Priest's celebration was short-lived as he was attacked by the Judgment Day after the match. The heel faction stood tall to close the show, with Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Jey Uso laid out.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo slammed JD McDonagh for sticking out his tongue in the closing shot.
"I had a laugh because I am watching the beauty shot at the end of the show and freaking JD McDonagh is there sticking his tongue out. I am like, are you doing that because you saw animals do that? That’s why they’re doing it. It’s bad enough you look like an idiot, now you’re gonna stick out your tongue for no reason."
The former WWE employee also questioned the Judgment Day's latest 'Street Trash' merchandise.
"Here’s another thing: who’s buying a T-shirt that says Street Trash? What parent is buying that for their kid to wear to school? Who is buying that?" [19:20 onwards]
JD McDonagh was also himself in action on WWE RAW as he and Finn Balor defended the World Tag Team Championship against the New Day. The duo managed to retain the title.
