Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are certainly one of the strongest tag teams in the WWE women's division. However, a veteran thinks that they are still not good enough to recreate one of the most iconic storylines in pro wrestling history.

The storyline in question is that of Mega Powers, a team consisting of Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. The two were allies at one point but became rivals later on leading to an interesting series of matches. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are also possibly following a similar plot, although former WWE head writer Vince Russo thinks they cannot execute it as well.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo podcast, the 63-year-old veteran responded to Bianca and Jade being compared to "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. Russo said:

"Look at who you are comparing Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to. No no no, two of the greatest in the business. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are not capable of pulling that off." [7:02 onwards]

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo thinks Bianca Belair is not happy teaming up with Jade Cargill

According to former WWE head writer Vince Russo, Bianca Belair being booked with Jade Cargill is a step down in her run, which is potentially making her unhappy.

While speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo podcast, the 63-year-old veteran stated:

"Bianca Belair was a [WWE] Women's Champion. So, she's here (gestures high). Oh, okay, Bianca, now we are gonna put you with Jade Cargill and you will be tag (team champions). Bro, that's here now (gestures low). Think about that. If I am Bianca Belair, I am like, 'Well, wait a minute. I was the Women's Champion, now you are gonna put me in a tag team?' I would have an issue with that. That's not progressing, that's coming down." [3:34 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for the duo down the line in WWE.
