"Just purchased 1000 water balloons" - 38-year-old superstar shares potential plan for WWE RAW

This week's episode of the red brand is the first show following WWE Backlash this past Saturday night in Puerto Rico. A 38-year-old superstar announced that he has purchased 1,000 water balloons ahead of tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW.

The premium live event was a huge success and featured one of the most energetic crowds in recent memory. The World Heavyweight Championship Tournament begins tonight on RAW, with a new champion being crowned at Night of Champions on May 27th.

RAW will be emanating from Jacksonville, Florida, tonight, and it is currently 86 degrees. Baron Corbin took to Twitter to announce that he has purchased 1,000 water balloons before tonight's episode of the red brand. He didn't clarify that he would be bringing the balloons to RAW in the post, but fans are hoping that he does:

"Just purchased 1000 water balloons to fill up. It’s going down!," tweeted Baron Corbin.

Baron Corbin would love to return to his old WWE character

Long before JBL abandoned him as his manager, Baron Corbin was known as "The Lone Wolf" in WWE.

His career started off with a ton of promise, but he has mainly been featured as a comedic character as of late. However, Baron is itching to get back to the character he used to be in the company.

In a recent interview with the Catch Club, Corbin said that "The Lone Wolf" character was his personal favorite and is hoping he can back to that gritty attitude in the company:

"Lone Wolf, that was my attitude. Rock and roll, I rode a motorcycle, I’m tattooed, I live that lifestyle. That was a very natural role for me," he said. "I would love to get back to that grittiness of 'The Lone Wolf,' but makes a little bit of everything in it. The Lone Wolf was a little one-dimensional. It didn’t have all that mentions that I think you need to be a John Cena or a Roman Reigns." [H/T: Fightful]

Baron Corbin is currently a free agent after not being selected during this year's WWE Draft. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the former United States Champion and if he can get back to being taken seriously again by the WWE Universe.
