A new in-ring WWE name has been revealed for former AEW star Mariah May. She officially confirmed her new moniker following this week's NXT.
The Glamour's last match was at this year's AEW Revolution pay-per-view, where she lost the Women's World Championship to Toni Storm. She later left the Tony Khan-led promotion for World Wrestling Entertainment and debuted on the June 3, 2025, episode of NXT. Upon her arrival, May confronted NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne, but her name wasn't mentioned.
This week on the black-and-silver brand, WWE aired a captivating vignette that introduced The Glamour. The cinematic presentation featured her in a bathtub, meticulously applying makeup, donning elegant shoes, and finally revealing a striking black dress before she was formally unveiled as Blake Monroe.
On Instagram, the NXT star officially announced her new name.
"BLAKE MONROE @WWE," she wrote.

Veteran thinks WWE has copied Toni Storm's gimmick for Blake Monroe
Legendary journalist Bill Apter recently shared his thoughts on Blake Monroe's brand-new persona in World Wrestling Entertainment. He discussed the subject on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted podcast.
According to Bill Apter, the erstwhile Mariah May's current character was very close to Toni Storm's Timeless gimmick.
"I am not gonna use the word rip-off, but this is very close to the Hollywood version of Toni Storm as well if you really think about it (...) I am hoping that this is gonna go over very well. I'd like to see her as a surprise, in a surprise match at Evolution, I think that would raise her stock."
As of now, Blake Monroe is officially scheduled to sign her NXT contract on next week's Tuesday night show. Fans will have to wait and see if the former AEW Women's World Champion will shortly challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship.
