Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona (FKA Zack Ryder) recently delivered a message related to his wife, Chelsea Green. The real-life couple might not be working for the same company, but they continue to support each other's endeavors.

Green returned to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble and has since been one of the most compelling characters on television. In July 2023, The Hot Mess won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Sonya Deville. The Canadian star also stole the show at this year's Money in the Bank PLE, where she took a big bump off a ladder onto the tables placed outside the ring.

Last Friday on SmackDown, Green advanced to the semifinals of the Women's United States Championship Tournament. She defeated Blair Davenport and Bianca Belair in a Triple Threat bout, earning a match against Bayley for one of the two spots in the final at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.

Meanwhile, in a comment on WWE's post related to the above-mentioned match on Instagram, Matt Cardona urged the company to give his wife the Women's United States Championship.

"Strap her up!" Cardona commented.

Chelsea Green receives unlikely endorsement to win the Women's US Title

In a recent post on X (Twitter), Chelsea Green shared a video of herself on a Delta flight. The SmackDown Superstar was acknowledged by the staff, and a special announcement hailed her as the future inaugural Women's United States Champion.

"Special announcement this morning. We have on board Ms. Chelsea Green. She's our future WWE Women's United States Champion. She also hit one million followers on Instagram. Thank you for choosing Delta, Ms. Green. It's a pleasure to have you on board this morning," the in-flight announcer said. [Inside The Ropes]

Despite her heel persona, Green has been cheered on by fans and receives plenty of support on social media. It will be interesting to see if she becomes the first-ever Women's US Champion.
