Drew McIntyre made headlines around the world recently. He stormed out of the Busted Open Holiday Party after some heartbreaking comments, leaving the entire WWE Universe concerned.
During his appearance, the former WWE Champion stated that he had given a lot to the industry but was not getting back what he deserved. He also took a shot at the WWE Universe's comments on social media.
In a recent edition of the Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray addressed the incident and stated that he was shocked to see Drew McIntyre take such a step on the show. The Hall of Famer was surprised to see the Scottish Warrior's condition, adding that he was confused about whether the star was trying to fool him.

“I’m absolutely shocked. I mean we are all shocked. But my jaw dropped. I’m like, ‘What the’. Like am I getting worked around here. That dude was just in a mood and that’s what happened,” said Bully Ray. [5:12 onwards]
Bully Ray was 'angry' at Drew McIntyre for storming off
While Bully Ray was "shocked" by Drew McIntyre's comments, he was also angry at the star. During the Busted Open Podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer stated that their show was presenting the year-end awards when Drew chose to drop his comments, which turned everything around.
The legend further added that while he was angry, he also felt for the former WWE Champion following his comments.
“I was pissed off at Drew last night. Dude, we’re having our year-end awards. It’s fun. It’s a big deal for this show to be in that fishbowl…I was angry with him in that sense. But I felt so bad for him because everything he was saying, as Mark said, was true. And I can relate—it resonated. So in that moment, we were all just trying to be good brothers and listen to this man as he kind of emotionally threw up on us. Drew hit his breaking point...He had a breakdown right there in front of everybody,” said Bully Ray. [17:18 onwards]
