Nick Aldis opens up on "taboo" subject when discussing WWE SmackDown superstar (Exclusive)

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently talked about a particular topic regarding Jade Cargill, which he believes some may consider controversial.

Even before arriving in WWE, Cargill had garnered a sizeable fanbase for herself in AEW as their TBS Champion. Despite not being featured much in the Stamford-based promotion yet, she had a match at WrestleMania XL alongside Bianca Belair and Naomi against Damage CTRL.

One of Big Jade's best features is her impressive physique. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Nick Aldis brought it up when talking about her. He also mentioned that talking about someone's look had become a taboo of sorts, but he strongly felt that it was very important in pro wrestling and that Cargill possesses just that.

"She is a force, right? I think one of the things you talk about in wrestling, and I feel like it has become bit of a sort of taboo subject is the look. But to me, sorry I am always going to be of the opinion that the look is tremendously important. And to me nobody has ever really had the look in more of a way than Jade Cargill does right? You hear about the old adage. The airport test. I have been in the airport with Jade Cargill and watched people you know, just head turning... She is very magnetic," claimed Aldis. [0:47 onwards]

The WWE SmackDown General Manager had a warning for Jade Cargill

Before Jade Cargill became more involved on the main roster, after signing with SmackDown, Nick Aldis had cautioned her regarding challenges she might face on the blue brand.

Speaking on the Gabby AF podcast, Aldis explained that Cargill's popularity even without wrestling may lead to some conflict in the locker room. Aldis warned her of the same, while also admitting that he was looking forward to her time in the company.

"I'd like to think that everyone will be professional, but I know that there are quite a few ladies on our roster who might have some choice words for Jade because they obviously feel like she's been getting a lot of attention and they realize that sometimes the best way to welcome someone to the bigs is to kind of show them what's in store for them if they're going to compete in the bigs. I'm sure Jade has plenty to say. I think the WWE Universe has been, you know, ever since the Royal Rumble especially, have been really waiting to embrace Jade as part of WWE.
