Seth Rollins paid tribute to The Shield in a huge way on SmackDown before Money in the Bank 2025. It was during a moment when they went full predator mode.
This week on SmackDown, we saw the duo of Andrade and Penta, both of whom are in the Money in the Bank ladder match, defeat The Creed Brothers. However, seemingly in a moment of desperation to make things easier in LA, Seth Rollins brought out Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.
In a huge tribute to The Shield, they did the formation outside the ring, covering three different sides. This was very Shield-coded, and people were quick to recognize that.
It's not often that we see tributes or callbacks to The Shield, but it's great that Seth Rollins still keeps the spirit alive in one way or another. Even his never-ending rivalry with Roman Reigns is rooted in their time together in The Shield.
This isn't the first faction that Rollins is leading post-Shield, but this could be the most impactful one by far. Having a monster in "Big" Bronson Reed, as well as the future in Bron Breakker, has made things exciting. They came to SmackDown to wreak havoc.
Rollins could very well be the favorite to win the MITB briefcase in 2025.
