R-Truth’s son calls Triple H a liar after WWE Money in the Bank 2025

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is officially in the history books, and fans around the world have only one name to talk about: R-Truth. Earlier this week, the legend announced that he had been released by the company. After the shocking announcement, the WWE Universe made their voices heard by chanting "We want Truth" on RAW, NXT, and SmackDown.

The 53-year-old returned to WWE in the most surprising way possible at Money in the Bank. The main event of the show featured a massive tag team match between John Cena and Logan Paul against Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, with rumors that Seth Rollins would cash in his Money in the Bank contract.

However, during the match, Cena used the Undisputed WWE Championship to attack Rhodes. But before he could go for the pin, Truth returned and attacked the Franchise Player with the title, leading to The American Nightmare picking up the win.

Triple H was asked about R-Truth’s status during the Money in the Bank press conference. The Game stated that Truth’s release and his return were all a “part of the show," hinting that it was all to keep fans engaged in the story between Truth and Cena.

However, the legend’s son, Christopher Killings, reacted to Triple H’s statement with a story on Instagram, suggesting that The Game was lying.

"Stop the [cap emoji]," he wrote.

However, he deleted his story just minutes later.

What’s next for R-Truth after his shocking return?

After his massive return at Money in the Bank, it is clear that the former United States Champion is still a part of WWE and is still engaged in the storyline with John Cena.

After his loss at the premium live event, John Cena will surely want to exact revenge on Truth. However, a rematch between the two won’t make sense, considering that Cena is on his retirement tour.

However, with SummerSlam approaching, the company could book a match between Cena and former Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, with R-Truth as the special guest referee. It remains to be seen what the creative team has in store for this storyline.
