R-Truth had a wholesome response to an interaction between Naomi and a former WWE Champion after Money in the Bank 2025. It was in the fallout of an incredible night for both superstars.
Money in the Bank in Los Angeles turned out to be nothing short of incredible for both R-Truth and Naomi. Ron Killings made his shocking return in the main event, directly costing John Cena and allowing Cody Rhodes to pin the Undisputed WWE Champion. Naomi, who is undeniably having the run of her career, became Ms. Money in the Bank and could be touching singles Championship gold in WWE after eight long years.
Former WWE Champion Big E praised Naomi in the post-show discussion, and the former Women's Champion was visibly emotional. Big E came up around the same time as Naomi in developmental, so he was extra proud about how she has finally reached her peak after over a decade and a half in the business. R-Truth directly responded to the video with a set of emojis, showing his support:
Some very interesting details emerged on R-Truth's return status, debunking a major statement.
A report from Fightful Select provided some very insightful details into the entire situation with R-Truth. While a large part of it was debunking Triple H's statement that implied that the entire situation was a work, it went further into what we can potentially expect from the man who now goes by his real name, Ron Killings.
According to the report, the situation was not a mastermind, elaborate work. Those backstage told Fightful that the move to bring Truth back (and Nick Khan getting directly involved) was one that was meant to boost the morale of the locker room. It was viewed as a sign of fan response being listened to, and the roster, as you might expect, is extremely happy with the outcome.
Multiple family members of Ron Killings stated that it wasn't a work and that things came together very late last week. Not only this, but the fact that R-Truth is now going by the name Ron Killings again could indicate that he might have a serious run before his in-ring career ends.
Truth has previously expressed a hint of regret over what could have been in his career as he took the comedy route instead of the serious route that could have made him a main event star.
