WWE Superstar Randy Orton came out to the aid of Kevin Owens during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

As Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga were engaged in conversation backstage with Paul Heyman during the show, Kevin Owens seized the opportunity and launched a surprise attack on them from behind. This was in retaliation to the brutal assault by The Bloodline on Owens last week.

The brawl spilled over to ringside as Owens and Tama Tonga exchanged blows. Solo Sikoa then joined the fray, targeting The Prizefighter and aiding The Bloodline in taking control. Despite efforts from referees and agents to intervene, The Bloodline's assault continued unchecked.

This was when Randy Orton came out to rescue his ally Kevin Owens, engaging in a brawl with Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa until The Bloodline retreated. Later on in the show, Hall of Famer Teddy Long announced that Orton and Owens would face off against The Bloodline in a tag team match at WWE Backlash next week.

Orton and Owens have forged an unexpected bond in recent months, particularly during their feud against Logan Paul leading up to Wrestlemania XL. It will be interesting to see if they can thwart the rising force of this new iteration of The Bloodline at Backlash: France.
