A huge return is happening on SmackDown, and WWE is slowly building up to it week by week. In the second vignette in seven days, the returning superstar vowed to conquer the blue brand.
That superstar is none other than a former Imperium member and a man who was once dubbed WWE's "pound-for-pound strongest man" - the 34-year-old Giovanni Vinci.
In the second vignette promoting his return, Giovanni Vinci said he's living the dream and spoke of his in-ring prowess while wearing a fancy suit and coming out of a luxury car. He said his next goal is clear: to conquer SmackDown.

Many believe that Vinci has the potential to do a lot more. There's certainly no doubting his in-ring prowess, but his character seemed to become a lot milder on the main roster.
Perhaps his split from Imperium could be a blessing in disguise. Vinci certainly doesn't lack anything in the in-ring department. His character change could be the boost he needs to finally get a push on SmackDown.
He is entering a very competitive field with stars like Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, Santos Escobar, and more. It will be interesting to see what the Italian star brings to the table.
