Real-life Bloodline member Rikishi had a message for John Cena following R-Truth's surprise return at Money in the Bank 2025. Rikishi appears to be quite happy about Cena reportedly asking to wrestle the former R-Truth before his departure.
R-Truth engaged in a short feud with Cena before he announced his WWE release. He lost to his fellow veteran in a non-title match at Saturday Night's Main Event, and announced his WWE exit mere days later. In a massive shocker, Truth came back at Money in the Bank and attacked Cena.
On the latest edition of his Off The Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi heaped big praise on John Cena for reportedly asking to work with Truth.
Here's what Rikishi said:

Rikishi is critical of some of the material WWE gave to R-Truth
The WWE Hall of Famer expressed his disappointment over Truth's creative direction in WWE over the years. He didn't like how the veteran was portrayed on TV on some occasions.
“Everybody thought that, okay, Ron Killings, the way they built him, certain promos, I didn’t agree,” Rikishi stated. “Certain promos that they had him shoot, right, as if, like, you know, he was a black guy that didn’t understand, right? That was this. There was that for me, I hated that, you know, I hated, I hated that. That was the type of promo that, you know, that whoever creative has that was the best they had to write for.”
Truth's release led to WWE receiving massive backlash from fans on social media. It reached a point where WWE had no choice but to work a deal with Truth to bring him back to weekly TV.
