Roxanne Perez gave herself a new nickname ahead of a major match tonight on WWE RAW. The 23-year-old was in action in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match at the premium live event this past Saturday night, but came up short.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will begin tonight on WWE RAW with two Fatal Four-Way matches. Roxanne Perez is scheduled to face Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, and Rhea Ripley tonight on the red brand.
Perez reacted to Adam Pearce's announcement today on social media and suggested a new nickname for herself ahead of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
"Queen Rox sounds perfecttt, they don’t call me the prodigy for nothing ♛ ☆," she wrote.
Finn Balor recently introduced Roxanne Perez to The Judgment Day, and she gifted Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio chicken tenders. Dirty Dom is currently in a storyline relationship with Liv Morgan, and the 31-year-old was not happy with the situation.
Perez was the victim of bizarre threats from an account on social media earlier this month. WWE took extra security measures to protect the RAW star during a meet-and-greet in California yesterday.
Wrestling insider shares why WWE paired Roxanne Perez with The Judgment Day on RAW
WrestleVotes recently disclosed why the company decided to align Roxanne Perez with The Judgment Day on WWE television.
Speaking on WrestleVotes Q&A on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, the insider responded to a fan's question about Perez and the RAW faction. The insider shared that the company was testing the waters with the former NXT Women's Champion and the group to see if fans were interested in the storyline.
"I think it's more testing the waters, see the reaction. She looks the part already and fits that group. I would love to see her and Liv fight for an official spot inside The Judgment Day," he said. [From 23:39 onwards]
