Roxanne Perez thanks Nikki Bella following RAW name drop

WWE Superstar Roxanne Perez has sent a thank you message to Nikki Bella following Monday Night RAW. The 41-year-old name-dropped the red brand's newest acquisition during her segment on the show this week.

On the June 9 episode of the red brand, The Prodigy pinned Kairi Sane to win her fatal four-way Queen of the Ring first-round match, which also featured Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. Later in the night, Morgan was involved in a heated exchange with Nikki Bella. The two-time WWE Divas Champion asked Liv to congratulate Roxanne on her behalf for winning the high-stakes contest and taking Dominik Mysterio from the 31-year-old.

Roxanne Perez recently took to her X/Twitter account to thank Bella for congratulating her. However, the former NXT Women's Champion also added that she did not need it.

"Thanks for the congrats, didn’t need it though @NikkiAndBrie 👑🥰 #QueenRox," she wrote.

WWE legend claims Nikki Bella had been training hard ahead of her return

WWE announced Nikki Bella's return to Monday Night RAW during the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. She had also returned to the squared circle for a one-off appearance in the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble Match.

In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter heading into the Money in the Bank PLE, RAW Superstar Natalya claimed that she had been working with Nikki. The 43-year-old said that Nikki had been training with her and Tyson Kidd privately for the last two months. The former Hart Dynasty member added that the WWE Hall of Famer put a lot of effort into the training.

"I have been working with Nikki Bella. Bella has been coming in and privately training with me and TJ for the last two months now. So I just saw her a few weeks ago, and she... Nikki was in my ring for four hours training... I said to Nikki, I was like, 'I forgot how good she actually is.' She poured her heart into our training," she said. [From 3:45 onwards]

The Stamford-based company is reportedly planning a feud between Liv and Nikki leading to a Women's Tag Team Championship match at Evolution, with Brie Bella joining forces with her twin sister. Only time will tell if the rumored plans come to fruition at the all-women's event.
