#4 Former WWE Superstar Blue Meanie makes AEW debut

WWE and ECW legend Blue Meanie made his debut for AEW on AEW Dark: Elevation this week. Meanie was part of WWE for a brief period in the late 90s. He was also a part of the ECW One Night Stand in 2005 where he got into a real-life fight with JBL.

Meanie came to the aid of former WCW Superstar Crowbar who faced Joey Janela this week. He broke his silence on Twitter after his appearance and thanked AEW for the opportunity.

AEW has brought many WWE legends such as Mark Henry, Sting, Paul Wight and Taz on board to help the younger talent. It remains to be seen how AEW will use Blue Meanie and Crowbar going forward.

Former 24/7 champion Elias has not been seen in WWE for weeks. The Drifter had vignettes air in which he said that 'Elias was dead. This led to speculation that he would debut a new gimmick when he returned.

As per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Elias was initially set to get a big push with championship implications. However, the plans seem to have been dropped by WWE.

''Others not drafted include Elias, who for a few weeks was being groomed for a big return with the idea he would be a serious title contender and then suddenly the vignettes dropped.'' said Meltzer
