#4 Who will replace Vince McMahon as WWE head honcho?
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has said that the President and Chief Revenue Officer of WWE, Nick Khan, will become the top guy in WWE and replace Vince McMahon. He said there will be a board of directors, but Khan is most likely to be at the helm of things unless they appoint someone new.
"It's kind of a board of directors thing, but you know, probably (Nick Khan replacing Vince McMahon), yeah. Unless they went and hired somebody else from the outside, but probably Nick Khan, yes," revealed Dave Meltzer.
Fans often wondered who would succeed Vince McMahon as WWE head. Though it was initially believed that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon would lead the charge, it looks like Nick Khan will be the man to step in.
Nick Khan could be a direct replacement for Vince McMahon for corporate affairs, but someone like Triple H will head the creative department.
#4 Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy released
Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt was released by WWE earlier this year. His release had come as a big surprise to everyone considering he was a former world champion. It is now being reported that another former WWE Champion, Jeff Hardy, has been let go by the company.
Fightful revealed that Jeff Hardy has been let go by WWE. Hardy came under scrutiny during a recent live event where he walked off into the crowd midway during a match. Matt Hardy gave an update saying that Jeff is doing okay now. However, it looks like WWE has decided to part ways with the iconic superstar.
