Vince McMahon once ruled WWE with an iron fist but sold the company to Endeavor as he eventually distanced himself from the promotion, which was handed to him by his father. Recently, Shane McMahon revealed whether his father would buy the Stamford-based promotion from TKO Group Holdings.

In 2023, Vince McMahon confirmed the sale of the Stamford-based promotion to Endeavor. Later, a new conglomerate called TKO Group Holdings was created as WWE went under UFC's parent company. Recently, rumors were running wild that Mr.McMahon wants to buy his former company back.

In an interview on TMZ Sports, Shane McMahon addressed the rumors and revealed that Mr.McMahon is still a big part of TKO, even though he's no longer associated with them. While he didn't say it, Shane did imply that anything can happen while Vince McMahon is still in the picture.

In the same interview, Shane McMahon, Vince's son, was asked about the possibility of teaming up with his father to start a new wrestling company. The 55-year-old star shut down the rumors and stated he and his father are not starting a new wrestling promotion.

"You never know what's going to happen out there. Of course, anything can happen in WWE, but those rumors are false. Those rumors are false," McMahon said.
