After challenging Raw for multiple matches at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV, SmackDown Live held a Live Event at Idaho Center in Nampa, ID this Sunday. It was reported that the arena was filled up with WWE fans for the action packed show featuring championship matches to both start and end the event

#1 WWE Intercontinental Championship - Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Tyler Breeze

The opening bout of the night saw the newly crowned Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler defending his title against 'Prince Pretty' Tyler Breeze. Both men were said to have good chemistry with each other and they delivered a decent match with some standard back and forth before Ziggler got the upper hand and retained his championship.

Results: Dolph Ziggler def. Tyler Breeze to retain his Intercontinental championship


#2 The Hype Bros and Heath Slater vs. The Ascension and Simon Gotch

In the absence of his tag team partner, one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater teamed up with The Hype Bros and faced the team of Simon Gotch and The Ascension in a 6 men tag team match. The crowd was not much into the match. At the end, the faces picked up the victory.

Result: The Hype Bros and Heath Slater def The Ascension and Simon Gotch


#3 Apollo Crews vs. Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkings who is yet to make his televised in-ring return squared off against the former NXT star Apollo Crews. Crews was noted to be impressive in the ring and he delivered some eye-catching moves before picking up the victory.

Result: Apollo Crews def. Curt Hawkins

After the match ended and Apollo left the ring, Hawkins cut a heel promo and demanded a new opponent and in response got The Big Red Monster Kane.


#4 Kane vs. Curt Hawkins

Kane squashed Curt Hawkins. There is no better way to describe it. The former World Champion came out and hit Kurt with a chokeslam before pinning him. The match allegedly lasted about 5 seconds.

Result: Kane def. Curt Hawkins


#5 Emma and Naomi vs. Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella

Emma and Naomi teamed up in the sole women's match of the night to take on and defeat the team of Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella in a 3 on 2 handicap matchup.

Result: Emma and Naomi def. Natalya, Alexa Bliss and Carmella

#6 Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton came out with the biggest pop of the night and Bray Wyatt's entrance was as stealing as ever. The match was described to be pretty good. Orton went on to win the bout after hitting Bray with his signature RKO.

Result: Randy Orton def. Bray Wyatt


#7 Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger was said to be pretty over with the crowd and Corbin had some good heel heat on his side. Corbin defeated Swagger after he distracted the referee by throwing the turnbuckle padding and hit Jack with a low blow.

Result: Baron Corbin def. Jack Swagger


#8 The American Alpha vs. The Usos

The American Alpha got a pretty decent reaction while squaring off against the former 2 times tag team champions. The match was a standard tag team bout and at the end, the team of Chad Gabble and Jason Jordan won the match.

Result: American Alpha def. The Usos


#9 WWE World Heavyweight Championship match - AJ Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

After Dean Ambrose played the lunatic referee role this past Tuesday, He got a chance to snatch the WWE Championship away from the champ that runs the camp in the main event of the night. Although Dean couldn't cash in the opportunity and Styles managed to retain the championship after he used an exposed turnbuckle in his favor.

Result: AJ Styles def. Dean Ambrose to retain his championship

After the match, the WWE Champion decided to take some more revenge for Ambrose's action on last SmackDown and tried to hit him with his championship belt. However, the Lunatic Fringe countered and hit AJ with a Dirty Deeds instead to send the crowd home happily.
