What’s the story?
WWE’s Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have terrorised the WWE roster under their reign as ‘The Authority’ in the past few years, and once upon a time former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins stood by their side.
After being stabbed in the back by Triple H, who screwed Rollins out of the vacant Universal Title on RAW, the two will get to settle their differences this Sunday at WrestleMania 33.
In a recent interview on the Cheap Heat podcast, Stephanie McMahon stated that her husband’s match is the one that she is looking forward to the most, come WrestleMania 33.
In case you didn’t now...
Rollins is the second member of the now disbanded Shield faction that Triple H has worked with at WrestleMania.
He main evented WrestleMania 32 against Roman Reigns last year and dropped his then-WWE World Heavyweight title to ‘The Guy.’
The heart of the matter:
Here is what Stephanie had to say about why she is looking forward to the Triple H vs. Seth Rollins match the most at WrestleMania 33:
"In terms of the matches that I'm looking forward to most, I mean, of course, Triple H and Seth Rollins.
It's unfortunate for Seth that Hunter's going to end his career and everything because he was on a roll there for a little while with The Authority, but that's okay. That's okay.
It's true [that WrestleMania season is Triple H's time of the year], it's true. And let's see, Undertaker versus Roman [Reigns]. Is Roman going to be able to retire The Undertaker? That's a huge story.
Of course Brock [Lesnar] versus Goldberg. And I'm naming all of the RAW matches first because, of course, I'm the Commissioner of RAW."
What’s next?
Despite her comments that Triple H will end Seth Rollins career, Stephanie has great reasons to be looking forward to their match-up.
Rollins is one of, if not the best worker on the roster today, and Triple H never fails to entertain when he makes his once a year return at WrestleMania to put over some of the young up-and-coming talents in the business.

It is expected that Hunter will do the job for Rollins, but after the incredible build-up to the match (including the unsanctioned stipulation added with Rollins’ knee injury), the pair is expected to tell a beautiful story once they hit the squared circle.

WrestleMania is a heavy card this year. A plethora of matches grace “The Show Of Shows’’ lineup, which features a match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker, Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton, Rollins vs. Triple H, and many more.
Out of all the matches on the card, Rollins vs. Triple H has all the potential in the world to steal the show, so keep your eye out for ‘The Game’ and ‘The Architect’ to put on one for the ages.
