Former SmackDown general manager Teddy Long was recently full of praise for Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day star has seemingly become the most hated heel in all of WWE, and the Hall of Famer compared him to Edge's former on-screen partner.
On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long spoke to legend Bill Apter and co-host Mac Davis. When they were talking about Damian Priest and praising him for his recent work, Long gave a special shoutout to Dominik Mysterio.
Long said that the heat Dominik is getting is comparable to the response Edge's on-screen ex-wife, Vickie Guerrero, once received from the audience. Vickie was a massive heat magnet during her stint as an on-screen authority figure.
"Let's give our hats off to Dominik Mysterio. Brother, he showed the world, not only me, that he's the guy. He's got more heat than anybody, and they did him just like they did with Vickie Guerrero. They wouldn't even let him talk. That's what I saw with Dominik. That story is over brother, because it's family." (9:10 - 9:39)

Dominik Mysterio picked up a big win on RAW after Backlash 2023
On RAW after Backlash 2023, Dominik and Rhea Ripley succeeded in their respective matches. Ripley defeated Dana Brooke before Natalya interrupted and "made the save" by casually strolling to the ring.
Ripley also helped Dominik pick up a win against Xavier Woods of The New Day. The 26-year-old hasn't had the best few days after being assaulted by the LWO at Backlash, but he bounced back with a massive victory on the red show.
It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for Dominik and Rhea Ripley, who have been among WWE's hottest stars in 2023.
