"Tell everybody I'm sorry" - WWE legend Ron "The Truth" Killings issues public apology

WWE Superstar Ron Killings (aka R-Truth) recently issued a public apology for his out-of-character post on social media. Truth hasn't been the same since returning to the Stamford-based promotion's weekly programming.

On June 1, R-Truth announced his departure from World Wrestling Entertainment after more than a two-decade-long career. After a massive backlash from fans, the Triple H-led creative team brought Truth back into the company. He made a surprise return at Money in the Bank, where he took John Cena out. On the following episode of RAW, the legend cut his hair in a segment, revealing himself as Ron Killings, suggesting that he was no longer the happy-go-lucky R-Truth.

During a recent edition of the Busted Open Podcast, R-Truth made an appearance alongside WWE RAW star Natalya. In the video, Nattie asked Truth about his recent out-of-character tweet, where he lashed out at Busted Open and Bully Ray.

After reviewing his post, Ron Killings apologized, saying that he never talks like that. Killings was about to delete his post before Natalya stopped him.

"No, wait a minute. Wait a minute. [Looks back at his tweet] Yeah, I apologize. I apologize. Tell everybody I'm sorry. I apologize. I don't, bro. My neighbors talk like that, but not me. So, you feel me? I'm deleting it right now, bro. Damn. [Nattie - Don't delete it if that's what you said.] No, I didn't. I don't talk like that; y'all know me. Y'all know me, right? [0:37 - 1:12]

Bill Apter wants WWE star Ron Killings to dethrone John Cena

During a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter said he wanted Ron Killings (R-Truth) to dethrone John Cena as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Apter added that this booking will receive a massive reception from fans.

"No, it's gotta be R-Truth. If they play this right, [...] The WWE universe will go wild if they do that and give that undisputed championship [...] from John Cena to Ron Killings."
