"The man is improving" - WWE veteran has lengthy rant about haters following Backlash

MVP had a lot of things to say to his client Omos' haters following his defeat at the hands of Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash.

Omos faced The Visionary in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday. He dominated the match, but Rollins still came out on top. Rollins had to use three Curb Stomps, one of which was from the top rope, to put The Nigerian Giant away for the three count.

In a lengthy rant on Twitter, MVP responded to Omos' haters who thought that he'd have a terrible match with Rollins. The former United States Champion claimed that Omos continues to improve despite his third consecutive loss in a singles match at a WWE Premium Live Event.

"The internet pissants said Omos vs Stroman would be terrible," MVP tweeted. "It wasn't. The flatscans said Omos would suck against Brock. He didn't. The dimwits said his match with Seth would be trash. While you're hating, the man is improving and literally doing BIG things!"

Omos is definitely improving, but losing every big match won't do anything for him. He lost to Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in November, lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39, and lost to Seth Rollins at Backlash.

WWE Hall of Famer thinks free agency status will help Omos

After the WWE Draft, MVP and Omos remained free agents in order to appear on both Raw and SmackDown. It might be a head scratching move for some, while WWE Hall of Famer Booker T thought it was beneficial for Omos.

On a recent episode of The Hall of Fame podcast, the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion explained why Omos is a free agent and how it could help him in the future.

"Omos is a guy, you know, he's still green. Omos, he still need reps. And Omos may not have enough guys big enough on one show just to work with all the time. So, him rotating from one show to the other might be beneficial as far as his learning curve (is concerned). That's what I'm thinking about as far as Omos goes." (36:15 - 36:36)

Omos will need to pick up wins moving forward if WWE wants fans to take him seriously. His status of free agent gives the company flexibility and keeps his feuds fresh all the time.
