CM Punk has been vocal about being a Paul Heyman guy right from the start of his career. Heyman played a huge part in Punk's first run in WWE and was by his side when the Straight Edge Superstar held the WWE Championship for 434 days.
When Paul Heyman was having trouble with the new Bloodline, he approached CM Punk and asked the latter to take him along as a favor. Hence, when Roman Reigns needed a final member for his WarGames team, the Wiseman returned and brought along the Straight Edge Superstar to fill the final spot in Roman's team.

Punk came running down to the ring and cleared it along with the rest of the OG Bloodline. After clearing the ring, the Tribal Chief came face-to-face with Punk which got the fans excited over this partnership. The audience chanted "This is awesome" as Paul Heyman got on the apron and watched his two biggest stars in the ring at the same time.
It will be interesting to see if CM Punk will be able to get along with Roman Reigns and the rest of the OG Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
