Endeavor invested billions in WWE and created TKO Group Holdings when the sale was complete. Recently, a former employee of the Stamford-based promotion, Tommy Carlucci, said the company could sell the sports entertainment juggernaut in the next five years due to a major reason.

In September 2023, Ari Emanuel and Vince McMahon founded TKO Group Holdings when Endeavor finished its purchase of WWE. Later, The Rock joined TKO as a board member, and a new era began in the Stamford-based promotion.

A few months later, McMahon resigned from his duties amid the Janel Grant lawsuit. Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios' The Coach and Bro Show, Tommy Carlucci said TKO could sell WWE in the next five years, as Ari Emanuel, Mark Shapiro, and Nick Khan aren't running a family-driven company anymore, which could be the reason behind a future sale in the coming years.

"You know, TKO, let's face it. It's not family-driven anymore. This company is not family-driven anymore. It's TKO, Mark Shapiro, Ari Emanuel, and Nick Khan, who've never been part of the McMahon family and can give two c**ps on what happened in history. They're taking the ball, and leasing out anything they can with the WWE logo and a sponsor, and this is what they're doing. And in five years, Coach, who knows? Maybe the company could be sold in five years, and we'll see what happens from there," Carlucci said. (From 29:12 to 29:47)

3-time WWE champion on whether Vince McMahon would buy the company from TKO

Earlier this year, Jonathan Coachman reported that Vince McMahon wanted to buy his former company from TKO. The rumor spread like wildfire, and industry veterans began to assess the possibility. Earlier this month, Shane McMahon was asked about his father's interest in the Stamford-based promotion.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, the former Hardcore, European, and SmackDown Tag Team Champion addressed the possibility of Vince McMahon possibly repurchasing WWE from TKO Group Holdings. Shane revealed his father still owns a huge part of TKO, and anything can happen because of it.

"Well, he owns a big part of TKO still. So, you never know what's going to happen there either. So, I'm not trying to be vague. I'm just saying anything can happen," McMahon said. (From 00:35 to 00:42)
