A popular female name said she wanted to hit an RKO in WWE. NXT Champion Trick Williams reacted to her post.

Sexyy Red is a popular rapper who has been gaining traction in recent weeks. She has been known for her mixtapes and singles. Red is also an avid WWE fan and has recently shown that she watches the product. When Trick Williams was hit with a cheap shot by Noam Dar, Red took to social media to warn him that Whoop That Trick would most likely seek retribution. It was later reported that this was a planned partnership between WWE and Sexyy Red with the belief that there would be future interactions between the rapper and the Stamford-based promotion.

Recently, Red took to X/Twitter to say that she cannot wait to RKO somebody on NXT next week. This statement turned a lot of heads and even got a reaction from the current NXT Champion. Check out Whoop That Trick's reaction below:

What the future has in store for the 29-year-old star remains to be seen.

Wrestling veteran Konnan defended Trick Williams from criticism

Trick Williams has grown to become one of the most popular stars on the NXT roster. Every time he makes his entrance, fans chant "Whoop That Trick." His in-ring skills helped him capture the NXT Championship from Ilja Dragunov recently. However, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer recently criticized him for being green in the ring.

While speaking on his Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL podcast, wrestling veteran Konnan came out in support of the current NXT Champion by saying that he looked like a star and it did not matter if he was green.

"He's green but he looks like a star. Not everybody looks like a star. He dresses like a star, okay? A lot of people do dress like a star over there. How many people do you come out and they singing your song? Seth Rollins, you know? A couple of guys, right? Sami. So that 'Whoop That Trick. Whoop That Trick,' he comes out to that and he has good matches with great wrestlers. Yeah, he's green, big deal. I think this guy has a tremendous upside," Konnan said. [01:43 - 02:19]

It remains to be seen if Trick will be able to retain his NXT Championship for a decent amount of time.
