WWE has undergone a lot of changes under the creative guidance of Triple H. The company has also officially introduced multiple new titles in the last couple of years, with Speed Championships for both men's and women's divisions being two of them. The inaugural Women's Speed Champion was crowned after SmackDown this week and fans reacted to the same on social media.
After the huge success of the Men's Speed tournament, the same was announced for the women's division. After multiple matches involving top stars, IYO SKY and Candice LeRae met in the finals of the tournament, with the match being taped after SmackDown went off the air. While The Genius of the SKY was a heavy favorite heading into the bout, LeRae pulled off a huge upset to become the inaugural Speed Champion.
Candice's win caused a major buzz among fans as many took to X (formerly Twitter) to send love and support to the star. Fans have always backed LeRae, stressing that she deserves better. While the Speed Championship is not one of the most prominent titles, they were nonetheless happy with the female star holding gold again.

Candice LeRae returned to WWE under Triple H's regime
Triple H has done an excellent job in strengthening the WWE roster by bringing back several formerly released talents along with promoting stars from NXT. While Candice LeRae was never released from the global juggernaut, she went on a hiatus only to return after Hunter took over the keys to the creative department.
Candice was a prominent member of the NXT women's division. However, she has failed to make a mark on the main roster. The 39-year-old is often on the losing end of her matches and has not been involved in any notable storylines since her return.
LeRae last competed on WWE TV in July when she and Indi Hartwell lost to Bianca Belair and Jad Cargill. Fans have been urging Triple H to give her more screen time and many are hoping that winning the Speed Championship could be the start of that.
