Triple H reveals current WWE star has creative control to do whatever he wants

WWE is currently operating under Triple H’s creative regime and has been at its peak. The Stamford-based promotion has been topping merchandise sales, record-breaking gate attendance, and social media numbers are at their peak, among other achievements.

Everything that happens on the weekly shows has to go under his supervision before anything occurs, and all superstars have to follow his lead. However, Triple H himself revealed that a current superstar enjoys full creative control and can do whatever he wants, even over him.

The name in question is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena, who is currently riding a massive wave of success as a heel and is on his retirement tour.

While speaking at the press conference after MITB 2025, WWE CCO Triple H interacted with the media. While talking, he shared his views on Cena’s retirement tour as it has reached its halfway point.

"He (John Cena) has earned the right to do this exactly the way he wanted to do (it), and he's (Cena) having the most fun I think I've ever seen him have, so I'm incredibly happy for him," said Paul Triple H Levesque.

Triple H is reportedly not happy about R-Truth's WWE return

R-Truth made a shocking comeback at the 2025 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event after he was released from the company earlier, ending his 17-year-long tenure with the promotion.

While speaking on Lucha Libre Online, Hugo Savinovich claimed that Triple H was seemingly behind R-Truth’s firing and was not happy seeing the legend back.

Triple H is not happy about Truth coming back. Why? Because he fired him. But Nick Khan overruled him. Triple H isn’t happy. What annoys me most is that in the press conference, when USA Today asked him directly about Truth, he replied, 'Did you like the show? Then that was part of the work.' Come on. Even a child knows better. Nobody’s buying that this was scripted. He insulted their intelligence.” (H/T: Ringside News)
