Another RAW episode is done and dusted, and there were a few questionable moments from a stacked show. Vince Russo called out WWE for making their referee look bad during the tag team championship match.

Judgment Day defended their titles against New Day as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston looked to add another championship reign to their legendary record.

The match, as expected, descended into chaos as Judgment Day interfered, followed by LWO coming out to level the playing field. In the meantime, Xavier Woods hit JD McDonagh with an elbow drop and seemingly could have gotten the three-count. Sadly for the veteran WWE star, the referee was busy trying to stop a brawl on the outside.

Vince Russo was pretty unhappy over the strange moment as he noted that the referee should never be bothered by what was happening outside the ring on RAW.

WWE has no plans for these former AEW wrestlers? Here's why!

The former WWE writer called the seemingly illogical spot "indie stuff' and said in a real-world scenario, the referee would probably get fired for his careless officiating. Vince blamed WWE and felt the company made the match official look like a "moron":

Russo didn't mince his words while criticizing the WWE, as you can view below:

"Bro, this is supposed to be the big leagues and the big time. How much of a moron you're going to make that referee look like? Why would the referee care what's happening on the out? That's indie stuff, bro. You do that on the freakin indies; you make the referee look like an idiot. Because, bro, seriously, if this were real, as I always say, then this referee would be fired next week because why are you paying any attention to what's happening on the outside? Oh my god, did they make that guy look like a fool!" [44:oo onwards]

The booking across the board in the WWE has improved considerably since Triple H took over, but other things, including how referees are presented, may need alterations moving forward.
