WWE News: What happened after Smackdown Live went off the air (29th November 2016)

The episode of SmackDown Live saw the return of the Ambrose Asylum

Just five days away from the SmackDown exclusive pay per view, TLC, last episode of SmackDown Live took some to the rivalries to their peak. With the latest edition of Smackdown live coming from Colonial Life Arena in South Carolina, the blue brand looked to outdo their red counterparts once again.

After the show went off the air, Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler teamed up against The Miz and WWE Champion AJ Styles in a dark match. Ambrose won the match after hitting the Dirty Deeds and pinning Styles.

Earlier, the show had ended with the Wyatt Family gaining the pinfall win over American Alpha. This meant that The Wyatt family will now challenge the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno for the SmackDown Tag Team championships this Sunday at TLC.

The focus then shifted backstage where the ‘Beauty and the Man Beast’, Slater and Rhyno were talking about how they would prepare for the Wyatts. AJ Styles walked in and got in Rhyno’s face. This was followed by Dean Ambrose viciously attacking Styles further intensifying their rivalry.

The brawl continued all over the backstage area with Styles being tossed across tables by Ambrose. The credits rolled with scenes of Ambrose landing some hard punches on Styles.

This particular episode of SmackDown Live also witnessed the return of the Ambrose Asylum with none other than James Ellsworth as the guest. AJ Styles stormed into the ring in the middle of the segment and claimed that he would take down both Ambrose and Ellsworth at TLC.

Ellsworth’s maiden appearance on the Ambrose Asylum didn’t go too well, as he took a Syles Clash off the steel steps to the floor. Styles celebrated jubilantly as the EMTs rushed to check on James Ellsworth.

The dark match before SmackDown Live cameras started rolling included another tag team match where Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley took on the team of Fandango and Tyler Breeze. The Hype Bros defeated Tyler Breeze and Fandango with the Hype Ryder.
