SummerSlam saw Bayley lose her WWE Women's Championship to Nia Jax, prompting speculation about her next step. A veteran is not very hopeful about her future.
Bayley has had an eventful run in the Stamford-based promotion, having started as a babyface but transitioning to a heel. Her later affiliation with Damage CTRL was not the best booking decision, according to Vince Russo. After the events of SummerSlam, the WWE veteran believes she will ultimately rejoin Damage CTRL despite being previously betrayed by the stable.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo stated that judging by the creative department's poor booking decisions in the past, Bayley was not in the best of hands.

"Knowing them the Damage CTRL is babyface now. Knowing them she (Bayley) makes up with the Damage CTRL. Where else is she gonna go with her bro? Where else?" [5:15 onwards]
He further added:

The WWE veteran also commented on Damian Priest's future
Apart from Bayley's future after losing her title, Vince Russo is also not very optimistic about Damian Priest's ensuing run after being dethroned by Gunther.
On the same episode of Writing with Russo, the veteran stated that Damian would not get over as a babyface unless he had a credible opponent. According to Vince, Finn Balor does not fit the bill.
"Everybody has just accepted the way things are and I am the one who doesn't know what I am talking about. Bro it's the same thing... We have got Damian Priest and Finn Balor. You are trying to get Damian Priest over as a babyface but in order to get him over as a babyface the heel has to be over. Finn Balor is not over." [0:46 onwards]
For now, only time will tell if Vince Russo's views about the WWE Superstars prove correct.
