WWE is home to some of the best wrestlers in the world

Wrestling fans have voted WWE Superstar Seth Rollins as the current 'workhorse' for 2023.

Rollins was awarded the 2022 'Workhorse of the Year' by Fox Sports back in December. He was voted by the WWE Universe following an unbelievable year full of great matches against the likes of Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Cody Rhodes, Matt Riddle, Bobby Lashley, and Austin Theory.

Wrestling Inc. asked wrestling fans on Twitter who they think is the current workhorse of the year. Rollins narrowly won the poll, getting 31.2% of the votes. AEW's Orange Cassidy came in second at 29.4%, while Rhodes and Gunther were in third (20.0%) and fourth (19.5%), respectively.

According to Cagematch, Seth Rollins has wrestled 35 times since the start of the year on television and live shows. Orange Cassidy has had 25 matches in the same time span. Gunther's wrestling matches this year is 32, while Cody Rhodes sits atop at 36 matches.

Seth Rollins to face AJ Styles at WWE Night of Champions to determine World Heavyweight Champion

Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will battle it out at Night of Champions on May 27 to crown the World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins had to beat Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest in a Triple Threat match to advance to the semifinals.

The Visionary then defeated Finn Balor to book his ticket to Saudi Arabia for the final. Meanwhile, Styles had to go through Edge and Rey Mysterio in the first round before beating Bobby Lashley in the semifinals.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer (H/T Wrestling News), Rollins is not a lock to win the World Heavyweight Championship. He will also probably miss more time due to filming Captain America: New World Order, and WWE may be apprehensive about putting the title on The Visionary.

Rollins versus AJ Styles promises to be a high-octane bout and will perhaps main event the Saudi Arabia show. It remains to be seen who will walk out with the newly minted title.
