Paul Heyman is set to be an integral part of WWE TV again as the year is about to end on an exciting note. Following a five-month absence, there are signs of a major twist in The Bloodline saga involving The Wiseman. However, a wrestling veteran is against that possible twist.

In the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, former WWE writer Vince Russo, who is admittedly not a big fan of Paul Heyman, spoke a bit about Survivor Series: WarGames and The Wiseman. The veteran said that his personal feelings aside, Heyman's repetitive "ladies and gentlemen" promo had run its course.

With that said, Vince Russo acknowledged how popular Paul Heyman was with the WWE Universe and believed that the potential decision to have the 59-year-old turn on Roman Reigns wouldn't be the right one.

"That's the thing; for whatever reason, this guy is so beloved; why would you want to swim upstream with [Paul] Heyman?" he said. [8:20-8:32]

A top AEW star has fired back at his critics HERE.

The context for this is that Heyman's attire when he returned on the November 22 edition of SmackDown was exactly similar to what Solo Sikoa has been wearing since WrestleMania XL. The attire was down to the last detail—from the blazer to the red t-shirt inside and a red handkerchief in the front pocket.

[Potential Spoiler] What is the latest update on Paul Heyman's relationship with Roman Reigns going forward?

Considering the chaos and circumstances around The Wiseman's return and the rampant speculation of his betrayal, what exactly is going on?

According to PWInsider, there are reportedly set to be "big advancements" in the current arc of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. It hasn't been specified as to whether a betrayal will take place, but it looks like fans can expect an explosive end to the year when it comes to The Bloodline story.

A report from WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass stated that the OG Bloodline (presumably minus CM Punk) would continue to be together after Survivor Series: WarGames.
