WWE botches major Wyatt Sicks angle; ex-employee rips lazy booking on SmackDown (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo exposed a huge missed opportunity with The Wyatt Sicks. The faction has been a major force on the blue brand over the last couple of weeks.

Ever since their return to the blue brand, the Wyatts have unleashed hell on the tag teams. For the last two weeks, Uncle Howdy and his band of misfits have terrorized the tag team division, bringing a sense of doom and destruction with them.

During the latest episode of BroDown with host Mac Davis, Russo explained that WWE had brilliantly set up the Wyatts but failed to follow it up this week. He mentioned that the creative should have had the tag teams trying to get back at the gothic faction. However, the Uncle Howdy-led team would bring them down one by one throughout the night. The veteran writer was irate that creative missed booking this angle after doing such great work last Friday.

"When you have all the tag team together, like they shot that one scene, no bro. Here's what you do. You open up early in the show and all the tag team basically say, 'We're gonna get the Wyatt Sicks before they get us. There are going to be no surprises, no blackouts.' Then throughout the show, you show all the teams and one by one, the Wyatt Sicks eliminate all of them. They set that up last week. That is so easy to do. That's your hook throughout the entire show. And what do they give us? They give us six guys telling us how afraid they are of the Wyatt Sicks and they give us a Bo Dallas promo when you wrote the story last week." [From 10:04 onwards]

This week on the blue brand, WWE aired a vignette featuring Bo Dallas. During the creepy video, the star spoke about the brotherhood and how they refuse to be forgotten. He issued a grave warning for the tag team division, claiming the moment of condemnation had arrived.
