The fallout from the WWE Bad Blood continues. A special commemorative edition of Hell in a Cell was held this past weekend, with CM Punk defeating Drew McIntyre in a brutal match. After McIntyre revealed a gruesome injury, several stars weighed in with their thoughts, and now a Hall of Famer has commented on the bout with exclusive backstage photos.

The Second City Saint destroyed The Scottish Psychopath in the 31-minute opener of Bad Blood. This Hell in a Cell match marked the 27th anniversary of the first-ever battle inside World Wrestling Entertainment's signature steel structure and was booked to commemorate the bout, held at the inaugural Bad Blood Premium Live Event in 1997. McIntyre revealed this weekend that he needed more than one dozen staples to close a head wound suffered during the match.

Diamond Dallas Page previously shared some backstage photos from the Bad Blood PLE and recalled how officials had he and other Hall of Famers staying busy on Saturday. DDP took to his Instagram today to share photos of Drew showing his staples off. The Master of The Diamond Cutter also gave a brief review of the actual match.

"16 staples for my buddy Drew McIntyre after an incredible Hell in a Cell Match with CM Punk! #WWEBadBlood," Diamond Dallas Page wrote with the photos below.

Punk apparently did not suffer any injuries while inside Hell in a Cell on Saturday. A former champion went viral over the weekend after making heavy allegations against The Best in the World, claiming he was working dangerous at Bad Blood.

DDP signs new WWE contract

Diamond Dallas Page has inked a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. The veteran confirmed the news after attending Bad Blood in Atlanta.

The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion revealed that he had signed a legends contract with the company after attending the PLE on Saturday. The WCW veteran also thanked Triple H.

Page made multiple appearances for AEW while his close friend Cody Rhodes was there. He noted back then that he would not sign a contract with Tony Khan because he wanted to continue working with WWE and that his All Elite appearances favored Cody because without Dusty Rhodes, there would be no DDP.
