While the SmackDown roster is preparing for another edition of the blue brand, the WWE RAW roster stopped over in Cardiff on Thursday, April 18, for the second house show of the week. We now have the results from the show.
The event kicked off with a singles women's match, in which Becky Lynch defeated Piper Niven. The Man has been absent from TV programming since losing to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40. However, she is expected to be present on the upcoming edition of RAW, where a new Women's World Champion will be crowned.
Elsewhere on the card, Ricochet defeated JD McDonagh while Jey Uso got a win over Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior was treated to loud CM Punk chants from fans which distracted him for the majority of the match and allowed Jey to pick up a roll-up win.
Damian Priest also defended his World Heavyweight Championship in Cardiff. The Archer of Infamy had a new opponent this time as Xavier Woods stepped up to him. However, The New Day member failed to get over the finish line.
Tegan Nox and Natalya were also in action. The dup defeated Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler in a tag match. Sami Zayn put his Intercontinental Championship on the line in a Fatal Four-Way match against Finn Balor, Chad Gable and Gunther. The champion was able to walk out with gold around his waist.
The event was headlined by Cody Rhodes, who defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. The duo have faced off on multiple occasions in the past and like all other instances, this time also the American Nightmare emerged victorious.
