Ricky Saints, fka Ricky Starks, arrived in NXT earlier this year. Shortly after his arrival on the black and silver brand, he captured the North American Championship. His success caught the attention of Ethan Page, who went after his title. The two men locked horns at NXT Stand & Deliver 2025, where Saints came out on top. However, Page was not done with Saints and he continued to target him.
Hence, they faced off again on the May 27, 2025, episode of NXT. During the match, he suffered a brutal throat injury which helped Page walk away with the win and the title.
