WWE plays top star's old entrance theme after big win; he asks them to "play the right song next time"

WWE made a big botch during tonight's live event emanating from Belfast. A top superstar's old entrance theme was played, and he pointed out the same immediately. The star in question is current Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn.

Zayn had a busy night in Belfast. He took on Gunther, Chad Gable, and Finn Balor in a Fatal Four-Way contest for the Intercontinental title. Zayn managed to defend his title successfully and won the match.

After Zayn won, WWE played his old theme song in a massive botch. Zayn asked WWE to do him a favor and play the correct theme next time.

Zayn has had quite an incredible 2024 so far. He won an opportunity to face Gunther for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania XL. At The Show of Shows, the two talented stars battled in an instant classic, and Sami Zayn somehow managed to defeat The Ring General to win the title.

Zayn's win was special as Gunther had held the coveted belt for about two years at that point. He had beaten some of the best talents in the promotion in his quest to keep the belt on his shoulders over the past two years, but Zayn finally ended his dominant streak at 'Mania.
