WWE Superstar Solo Sikoa got a major shock on the November 22, 2024, episode of SmackDown when Paul Heyman returned with CM Punk. The Wiseman made his appearance when Sikoa demanded Roman Reigns surrender ahead of the Survivor Series. Now, the company has sent a message to The New Bloodline’s Tribal Chief.
Both factions of The Bloodline are set to clash in the Men’s WarGames match on November 30, 2024. While Solo Sikoa had recruited Bronson Reed to his team as its fifth member, The OTC didn’t have a fifth man despite asking wrestlers on both brands for help. Despite this, The Original Tribal Chief was prepared to go into a four versus five handicap match at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event.
But just as Sikoa mocked Reigns for not having a full team and his Wiseman by his side, Paul Heyman entered the arena. He also brought along CM Punk with him, following which a brawl erupted in the ring. Sending Sikoa a message, WWE added a post on Instagram.
“@solosikoa, did you really think that @paulheyman was going to let the OTC surrender? 👀 #SmackDown.”

Why did Paul Heyman bring CM Punk to aid Roman Reigns?
CM Punk is a great addition to counter Bronson Reed and the rest of Solo’s Bloodline. However, he does stand out as the odd one out in Roman Reigns’ team. This has led many fans to question why The Wiseman chose to bring The Second City Saint to aid The OTC.
Notably, Reigns burned his bridges with almost every superstar on both brands of the WWE roster during his reign as The Head of the Table. Moreover, The Original Tribal Chief didn’t want to work with Cody Rhodes to face Sikoa once again. Thus, Paul Heyman needed someone who would not deny his request.
Additionally, Seth Rollins has made it clear that he won’t be partnering with Roman Reigns at all. Thus, Punk, who wasn’t in WWE during his reign of terror to have any bad blood with The OTC automatically became a viable choice. It would be interesting to see if he would be able to help Reigns destroy the new Bloodline once and for all.
