Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk II took place at Bash in Berlin [Photo credits: WWE]
Two of WWE's biggest names of the modern era locked horns at WWE Bash in Berlin inside the Uber Arena on August 31. While both men revel in the agony of each other, it is CM Punk who had a score to settle, as Drew McIntyre is the spider who is bloated by the blood of his prey.

After drawing first blood at WWE SummerSlam, McIntyre continued to torment Punk with the latter's bracelet which he stole from the Chicago native many weeks ago. CM Punk proposed their bout be a Strap match in Berlin, Germany, this weekend.

The Scottish Warrior kicked things off with a sneak attack before the bell rang. Punk managed to get some offense in not long after. At one point during the brutal showdown, The Straight Edge Superstar was busted open. You can check out a capture of this moment here.
This played as a homage to Punk's last AEW match against Samoa Joe at All In 2023, much like his ring gear at Bash in Berlin.
Later, McIntyre pulled out CM Punk's bracelet in another attempt to play mind games with the latter, similar to what transpired at SummerSlam. In the end, though, Punk turned the tables and hit the Scotsman with the GTS repeatedly. Before hitting the final turnbuckle to win the fight, he took back his bracelet from McIntyre's arm.
