Tony Khan recently announced Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada for All In 2025. A WWE Superstar and former AEW star Lexis King took shots at The Rainmaker following Khan's announcement.

The 31-year-old is signed to NXT and has been a mainstay in the developmental brand for over a year. He debuted in 2023 after departing AEW. Along the way, King has won the Heritage Cup once but has yet to hold a championship.

On X/Twitter, King shared a message aimed at Okada while reacting to a parody account. He claimed that he had outdrawn the reigning AEW Continental Champion in the past and could do it again.

"Wouldn’t be the first time I out-drew Okada," wrote King.

Konnan blamed Tony Khan for Kazuchika Okada's booking in AEW

Konnan believes that Kazuchika Okada isn't the same in AEW as he was during his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion debuted in the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2022. Two years later, he had officially signed with Tony Khan's company and became a full-time member of the roster.

Speaking on the K100 podcast, Konnan expressed his honest opinion on Okada's bookings and blamed Tony Khan. He said:

"This lies on two people, Okada and Tony for not, 'Hey I'm paying you four million dollars, go out there and give me a great match,' and him [Okada] because he don't give a sh*t being overpaid, he's got the title and he's not going to risk injury and that's basically what's going on. That is not the same fighter I saw in Japan."

The Continental Champion's next marquee match in AEW will be against Kenny Omega, who is the reigning International Champion. This will be their first clash on American soil, having previously collided on multiple occasions in NJPW. Okada vs. Omega is billed as a "Winner Takes All", hinting at the possibility of unifying both titles.
