Vince McMahon was known for his occasionally harsh nature, during his time in WWE. A veteran who is no longer associated with the company recently recalled the last words he heard from the former President's mouth, which he apparently did not respond to.

Vince Russo played a major part in the creative direction of WWE during the Attitude Era. He seemingly had a love-hate relationship with the erstwhile head of the company, having worked with him closely.

When discussing McMahon's current issues in light of the allegations, Russo explained how he had been insulted in his last conversation with the 79-year-old. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's, The Wrestling Outlaws show, he stated:

"My last exchange with Vince McMahon was him basically telling me what a loser I was. That was our last exchange and Chris, I completely ignored it, and didn't even answer him back." [1:53 onwards]

WWE veteran recently commented on the Vince McMahon documentary

According to Russo, WWE is playing more of a part in the Netflix docuseries about Vince McMahon than one may think.

Speaking on an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's, Writing with Russo, the veteran explained how the advertisements for the docuseries now present it as the "rise and fall of McMahon," which wasn't the case initially. He noted that if the Stamford-based company did not want the docuseries to air then they might have ensured that they paid the popular streaming platform off to get the project shelved.

"They are promoting this as the rise and fall of Vince McMahon. Bro, that's not how they were promoting it before. Bro, let's face it, Chris, you and I both know if they [WWE] did not want that to air, they would have paid Netflix millions and millions and millions of dollars to scrap the project. Not only are they going ahead with the project, now it's the rise and fall? Bro, there was no fall before this. There was no fall when they originally signed this series," said Russo. [16:24 onwards]
