WWE NXT Deadline 2024 aired last night on Peacock. This show was a big one, as it was the final premium live event of 2024 for both NXT and the main roster. While the card had peaks and valleys, the show certainly ended on a high note.
The main event of NXT Deadline was the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Match. Five of the best women's wrestlers in the industry went at it when Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Wren Sinclair, Zaria, and Sol Ruca battled it out.
In the end, Giulia won the match and earned a shot at the NXT Women's Championship at NXT New Year's Evil in January. Meanwhile, Stephanie Vaquer, one of the best wrestlers in the world, now has to seemingly start back from the bottom.
This article will take a look at a handful of directions for the Chilean star following her crushing defeat at NXT Deadline. This includes a shocking heel turn, moving up to the main roster, and beyond.

Below are four directions for Stephane Vaquer following her crushing loss at WWE NXT Deadline.
#4. She could ask for a one-on-one match with Giulia for the New Year's Evil opportunity
The Women's Iron Survivor Challenge was a great match and WWE fans seemed to love it. As noted, Giulia won the bout, having secured the most points by the end of the contest. With that being said, she arguably only barely won.
As the final seconds ticked away, Stephanie Vaquer put her friend in a pinning hold, but the time expired before the WWE official could count. While there is certainly a chance Giulia would have simply kicked out, nobody can know for sure what would've happened with a few more seconds.
This will likely weigh on Stephanie's mind. As a result, she might ask Giulia for a one-on-one match ahead of NXT New Year's Evil with the title opportunity on the line. If Vaquer believes she can defeat The Beautiful Madness, it would make sense to try to get her spot.
#3. Stephanie Vaquer could be called up to WWE's main roster
WWE NXT is a great brand, but it is ultimately developmental and the number three show World Wrestling Entertainment offers. The two main brands are Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown.
In big news, it has been revealed that with WWE RAW moving to Netflix in a month, the rosters of the red brand, SmackDown, and NXT will be shaken up. A trade window of sorts will be put into effect, which will likely see some main roster call-ups by Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce.
Nick Aldis' SmackDown may be the perfect destination for Stephanie. She could have incredible matches with the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, Bianca Belair, Bayley, and Nia Jax. She could also try to win the Women's United States Title.
#2. She could feud with Jaida Parker
Jaida Parker is one of the best young stars in pro wrestling today. Despite only being with WWE for a relatively short period of time, her charisma, personality, and mic work have won fans over in quick fashion.
Unfortunately, despite her promise, Jaida had a tough night at the office at NXT Deadline. She went one-on-one with Lola Vice in a WWE NXT Underground Match and ultimately came up short against the former mixed martial artist.
With Jaida and Stephanie both having off nights, they could feud with each other to try to get ahead. Whichever of the two loses out in the feud will likely fall down the card, but the winner should be elevated considerably. Who would stand tall if the two feud?
#1. Stephanie could shockingly turn heel on Giulia
As noted, Stephanie Vaquer lost in the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Match at WWE NXT Deadline, but only barely. Not only is that likely frustrating, but Stephanie seemingly showed that frustration post-match.
Vaquer looked on as Giulia celebrated, clearly distraught. It is evident that Stephanie felt she deserved to win the match. That loss could turn into resentment, which might lead to the WWE star betraying her friend and fellow international sensation.
Stephanie might jump Giulia, especially if The Beautiful Madness defeats Roxanne Perez to win the NXT Women's Championship. This could then set up a big match between the two, perhaps with Stephanie dethroning the Italian-Japanese performer at a future event.
