NJPW News: Bubba Ray Dudley says Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho will be bigger than any WrestleMania 34 match

Former WWE superstar Bubba Ray Dudley voiced his opinion on the upcoming match between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho at Wrestle Kingdom 12. The former Dudley Boy spoke to ESPN and said that Omega vs Jericho will have more people talking than any match that will happen at WrestleMania 34.

Bubba Ray Dudley has been a mainstay in the wrestling business for almost three decades now. He made his first major impact in ECW and then went on to become a crucial part of the Attitude Era in WWE.
A multiple time Tag Team champion, Bubba also found success as a singles performer during his stint in Impact Wrestling. He currently performs in the independent circuit and works for Ring of Honor as well as.
Heart of the matter
During his interview with ESPN, Dudley said that the Omega vs Jericho battle is bigger and better for the wrestling industry.
“I think Jericho vs. Omega is a bigger match than any WrestleMania match that will happen because it's bigger and better for the wrestling industry.” He noted.
The former Tag Team Champion went on to note that the match might not make more money than WrestleMania but added that it has more people talking. He also praised Jericho for being smart and for constantly reinventing himself.
Wrestle Kingdom 12 has a stacked card to offer. The show is headlined by the IWGP Heavyweight championship match between Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito.
The showdown between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega for the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship will serve as the co-main event of the night.
The road towards Jericho vs Omega has been brilliant. And as Bubba mentioned, a lot of people are talking about this match. For people within the wrestling industry, Jericho vs. Omega will be bigger than any WrestleMania match that WWE might put forward in 2018.
But at the same time, for the mainstream casual fans, it’s going to be a different story. This is why Bubba probably stressed on the fact that WrestleMania will go on to make more money.
