#7 Ember Moon vs. Asuka (C) (Singles match for the NXT Women’s Championship)

Hats off to the ladies! Great match and just for the record, both women deserve to be on the main roster. Asuka was sensational as always, but it was Ember Moon who proved her true worth. The match ended after Asuka countered Moon’s jump off the apron and locked in the Asuka lock, for the win.

#8 Bobby Roode vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (C) (Singles match for the NXT Championship)

Both Superstars received huge pops, as the chants of their names, fill the arena. The match started with Nakamura getting the upper hand, but surprisingly Joe appeared and pulled Nakamura out of the ring and hit him with a clothesline out of nowhere.

He was thrown back into the shuffle as Roode worked on him. Roode went a little overboard with showboating and taunting the crowd with Nakamura’s signature moves.

Shinsuke retaliated with a running boot and followed it up with a knee drop. The King of strong style attempted another knee, but Roode countered this time. After that Nakamura had Roode in an armbar, but Joe interfered yet again and distracted the referee, who missed Roode tapping out.

Nakamura then pushed Roode on Joe and finished the match with a knee off the top rope.

Results: Shinsuke Nakamura retained via pinfall
