NXT TakeOver: Toronto - 5 Possible finishes for Triple Threat North American Championship match
Dunne has a storied history with Strong, almost making Dream the odd man out. But just because the focus isn't on him, it does not mean that Dream isn't just as dangerous as ever. This match could also be a perfect set up for all members of the Undisputed Era to walk out of Toronto draped in gold.
Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly are challenging for the NXT Tag Team titles while Adam Cole defends the NXT Championship in another chapter of his ongoing feud with Johnny Gargano. When all is said and done this Saturday night, all members of the group could indeed be hoisting gold at the end of the night.
With a Triple Threat match, there are obviously more possible outcomes given the extra competitor. With that said, here are five possible finishes for the match for the North American Championship at TakeOver Toronto.
#5 Roderick Strong Wins the title
If this was the Strong who debuted with NXT almost three years ago, then his best chance at winning the title by himself would be cleanly. But since he's a part of the Undisputed Era, that possibility goes out the window due to the likelihood of outside interference.
Strong earned his shot by defeating the Dream in a match on NXT TV earlier in the Summer. It also went along with Adam Cole's promise that the entire Undisputed Era would be holding gold at some point in 2019.
There are many opportunities for things to go wrong, and in these types of matches, it's usually the heels who take advantage. If Dunne and Dream go at each other and leave themselves vulnerable, Strong could certainly take the chance to add another title to his group.
This is also likely a match that has "no disqualifications" which opens up all sorts of possibilities regarding shenanigans that can occur. But since they would technically be legal due to the parameters of the match, Strong picking up the win is a plausible outcome.
